Well, as you can imagin, there are a lot of ticks around at the moment and i am having great trouble with them. I'm terrified of getting them out with tweesers because my hand eye co-ordination is poor at the best of times, let alone when im terrified and the dog won't sit still!

I'm wary of using vasaline or any fluids because i know my Northern Inuit will deside its very interesting and start continually licking it off the other dog, dosey animal

At the moment i'm sort of keeping an eye on them untill they drop off and then take them outside to kill them, simply because that seems like the safest option, but i'v been looking online and saw these tick hooks, they seem to have good reviews. Was just wondering if anyone else uses them or has used them and could tell moe how easy they are to used and if they are effective.

Tick removers work quick and well,if you leave ticks in you could risk infection

I've used tick removers and they worked well very easy to use. Not got a tick problem here at the moment, we have fleas!!!

tick removers are good then i use a antiseptic spray where the tick comes out from.

Urgggh..not had a flea problem for years then brother bought his dog round(obviously had flisbees)and ive only just eradicated them after god knows how long through using frontline combo!

I know, its just the last time i tried to remove a tick the head got left in, so i feel its safer to wait rather than cause the problem at the moment.

As soon as my family are back from their holiday i'll atempt to talk then into buying a tick remover then, i take it those are the noose ones?

You could always help prevent ticks with the Frontline spot on treatment, horrible little critters so they are.
