Re: Chews?

Just a thought...have you tried the white filled bones you can get from the petshop, if you dont like the stuff they use to fill them you can always scoop it out and put something in of your own

Re: Chews?

Nylabones are great. It wouldn't last long for large breed dogs but with small breed dogs just like mine, it does.

Re: Chews?

I use the white filled bones or the smoked ones and the dogs will still chew them when the filling has gone sometimes i refill with the fillings you get for kongs or some of the food soaked and a tin of sardines mixed in

Re: Chews?

Mine are the same with the rawhide. They seem to get too carried away when they come to the end and sometimes choke on them so when it gets really small i take it away from them

Mine love kongs stuffed with bits and also the white filled bones from p@h and they are doing a turkey one atm aswell which they love

Re: Chews?

I gave him a maxi jumbone yesterday and he chewed and ate 3/4 of it in just 15 minutes, so we need something harder than that as we want him to have it for a couple of hours every evening. he's get strong jaws for such a small dog.

The white sterilised filled bones are great i scoop he food out as its very salty, mine have always had them the last for ages ive some here that i have had over a year they dont splinter into tiny pieces so are ideal even when you arnt around i buy them at wilkinsons the last ones were under a pound the best things ive ever bought for mine. As they are so hard they tend to scrape them rather than bite them when they are chewing so great for their teeth.
