Re: chappie

Blu is on Chappie with some royal canin because he wasn't that well passing blood etc. He does so much better on it than the £2 a tin food the vet wanted him to go onto. Would have cost £4 a day to feed him on it

Re: chappie

if you want to still feed a dry food, you should give Burns a phone, they have a food that suit most dogs with different sensitivities. really really good food.

Re: chappie

Mabel suffered severe colitis when avery young pup up to about 4 months old on frequent antibiotics and anti inflamatories but since switching to Arden Grange and nature diet wet food shes been fine. Our vet never suggested antibiotics for life just that she would need them during any flare up with the anti inflamatories she doesnt do very well with wheat is fine with rice and maize but anything more than a very small amount of wheat can set her off

Chappie is a very good food for sensitive tums, Mabel just would not eat it

Good luck

Re: chappie

I was advised to feed chappie to my friends northern inuit who kept getting he runs and it stopped completely.
Also since feeding my pair chappie I have not looked back! Their mess is soo much easier to pick up- before I had been feeding winalot.

Re: chappie

I didnt realise this was still popular. Our vet recommended it for our first dog, I havent seen it for years. I might look into it if we cant sort out Hedley. I am trying the dry food first for ease. I remember chappie did smell a bit fishy.

My vet told us to feed our old Lurcher (13yrs) Chappie as she has had a stomach ulcer its because it has fish & chicken in it and no red meat and therefore kinder to her stomach, it does look awful though!

Re: chappie

I always have a couple of tins of chappie on stand by in the cupboard
It's the one food I know they will eat if they are felling unwell.
