Bodhi is on a distinguished road
Re: Luxating patella

Little update on this!

Specialist vet checked him out and said that it was such a minor luxating patella, not even a grade 1, to leave well alone.

She see's this all the time in small terriers and that most have it all there lives without the owner even knowing.

She also said that Bodhi is such a fit and muscular beast of a dog that it isnt an issue.

Since all this I have gone on to notice it in so many dogs in the park!! You don't want to sound like a know it all so i dont say much about it, but chatted to a couple of owners who say ''oh yes!! he has always done that actually - never got worse, now 8 yrs old etc etc''

So not worried.

I feed him on JWB cereal free lamb dry and top it off with JWB wet or naturediet wet.

He is as fit as a fiddle.

So thanks for the advise, thought i'd finish off on a positive for anyone else who may search out luxating patellas.

Re: Luxating patella

That's good news. It's good that you can avoid surgery.
