Unhappy help with puppies eyes

hi i'm new here so please b patient.

my puppy got her head stuck n a fence yesterday and after finally getting her free, she now has blood in her eyes with no trace of white. Even though she seems fine and doing everything as normal its still worrying me. Is it something that will clear through time or not? many thanks

Re: help with puppies eyes

Personally anything to do with their eyes I get him straight down to the vet for a check up the same day. Ive avoided so many injuries by using simple eye washes/creams that if left untreated could have led quickly to infection or blindness.

Re: help with puppies eyes

she has probably blown the blood vessels in her eyes, agree with the others take her to your vet who will give you some drops or cream and completely check her eyes

You must consult to a vet. You really need a treatment for your pet.

Re: help with puppies eyes

Because it is the eye, I would definately take the puppy to the vet, he will look at it and put a special strip of paper on its eyeball which will turn green, he is able to see abrasions and cuts more accurately then, he will give you drops or an eye ointment to put into his eyes 3 times daily for inflamation.
Dont put anything in it yourself, nothing for humans, you can do more damage than good.

Are you a vet? Or have you experience this type of situation. You looks like an expert. Two thumbs up!
