So far I have got quotes for:
Direct line £17.10 for £6,000 per condition
Homebase platinum £23.20 for £7,500 per year
Argos platinum £21.40 for £7,000 per year
Petplan £24.51 for £4,000

I also tried Buddies which I got a goody bag by them from the vets and they quoted me £40 ish
I shall try the supermarkets next.

i was with tesco and after having my dog die as a result of a tragic accident they were very good. got vets bills paid and the money we paid for him, obviously would rather have him than the money but i suppose thats why we took insurance. think i'll be going with them for glen too, £11 a month but not lifetime.

My dogs are insured with More Than,as yet ive not had to claim

Get an insurance quote from Healthy Pets. They are pet insurance specialists and the staff are all really helpful if you have any questions.
Should you need to make a claim there is a choice whether you receive the settlement or the vet direct.

I have been really happy with their service.

I just did Petplan's quote they quoted me £33.74 for the lifetime cover

They also quoted me £10 more for the supreme life cover.

Ours is life time as far i the lady was saying on the phone, its £4,000 for the life time of the condition so a skin condition they would pay after 12months until the £4k runs out

Will have to read the policy again

I'm with HSBC havent ever had to claim touch wood but its around £12 a month for lifetime cover of £7000 per condition and excess is around £85. I thought this seemed quite good??

That sounds really good and ime looking for around the £7,000 cover i dont think the £4,000 ones is enough cover.
