Re: 0rijen puppy food

missed that number can I have it again ? lol - cant blame them for promoting it a lot of others promoote their stuff. It does sound ok but the price is very misleading, the Applaws for a 12.5kg bag (max size available) is anywhere from 45 - 65 pounds.

It contains Omega 3 & 6 from fresh salmon, It is free of rice, it contains no cereals or grains. It contains natural extracts for good health including Cranberry, Seaweed extract, Rosehip extract, and natural plant fibres that help your dog get rid of digested dog hair safely. It even contains a natural yucca extract that helps reduce the smell of my dogs poop. Best of all it is British and my dog loves it. If you have not tried it I would strongly recommend you call Applaws as they are giving away free samples. Even the telephone number is free (0800 083 0599)
The small bags are on offer at Pet Planet. The large bags are full price. Can't fimd a full analysis to give a proper comparison to Orijen and when I contact them they still sent me the Guaranteed analysis not a full list and breakdoen of ingredients.

Re: 0rijen puppy food

I put my puppy on Orijen when she was about 6 months as she wasn't eating James Wellbeloved of Arden Grange very well. She is 13 months now and doing well. She is only a small dog, around 6kg so the smaller 2.5kg bag lasts us a good while.

So frankly speaking, you do not recommend this puppy food?

Snap Victoria!

I am still deciding. I was going to use Arden Grange but it has made him rather loose, so I am going back to his previous food for a few days until he settles. I am as confused as ever.

Re: 0rijen puppy food

My welsh springer Jasper is on Orijen and he is now 7 months and looks great . I also had a huge bag of Wainwrights which I had bought before I had introduced Origen . He has Origen in the morning and night and Wainwright in the afternoon for lunch . He has just started 2 meals a day ,so I gie him Origen in teh morning and Wainwright at night . I am bit confused here as to how much should I give him . I normally used to give him 90 Origen for breakfast , 90 Wainwright in teh afternoon and 90 origen again in the night.
since i have started twice a day I give him 150 in the morning (Origen ) and 150 of Wainwrights at night . IS THIS TOO MUCH? I hope I am not over feeding him. I am following the bag but I have read threads that you don't have to feed too much Origen ..so I am confused. As origjen is such good food and so premium.. how come the nurses and the vet at the vets have never heard of Origen . I also got samples from Arden Grange ...should I change him to this?
please advice ...about his quantity...Jasper is now ...16.6 kgs.
thanks everyone ...because it is because of all you lovely dog lovers that I introduced Jasper to Orijen and I do not regret this at all!devon24.10.09 canon 032.jpg
