The puppies have bad breath already

Both Milo and Phoebe are only 5 months old and they already have bad breath, kind of upset about this as they are still puppies!

Any remedies that I could use?

I'm looking to buy some of the CSJ's "Simply 'Seaweed and Parsley' " Herb or the CSJ "Simply 'Dem Bones!"

Has anyone tried these for their dogs?

Re: The puppies have bad breath already

Rupert had smelly breath at one point when he was a pup, for him it turns out that his anal glands needed emptying and he was going crazy itching his bum, it wasn't a poopy smell at all, but that was the only time he had bad breath as a pup, might be a possibility..?

Not too sure about those treats in particular but ones with parsley and the like in tend to do the trick people have told me

They are currently teething so I'm not sure if that may be one of the reasons.

Re: The puppies have bad breath already

I think it's normal for puppies to have bad breath and should improve over time. My dog had the same problem and I switched him over to hard dog food, which I believe is better for the breath and teeth, and a couple times a week I give him a clean bone to chew on. Seems to have worked for him.

Could I put fresh parsley in their meals everyday, would that sort it out because Zeus also has bad breath but no where near as bad as Milo's.
