Re: What should i do?

Its the quickest way of giving him a bad tum swapping his food to quickly and too often . Iams isnt a great food if you can get some of the James welbelloved or burns or even better the origen puppy foods then this would be better just remember 4 feeds and no more than the daily allowance stated most dry foods can be moistened about 10 mins before putting his food down but to be honest with teeth ect its best he chews it dry . avoid putting anything else in with it once you have swapped him over this only makes for fussy eaters , a dog wont starve its self so on the odd occasion he doesnt fancy it then pick it up and offer it again later .

Butcher's isn't very good, as mentioned above it's full of rubbish. Iams is just as bad and has also been under the spot light for it's animal testing recently.

If you want to give the pup the best possible food (short of feeding BARF) I would personally recommend Orijen as a dry food. The Nature Diet as mentioned by Lemmsy is a great alternative to the usual wet tinned "junk" food.

Re: What should i do?

My puppy just had the runs again. Do you think i should feed him again tonight or just leave him be for today?
I knew something like this would happen when my boyfriend was working all day. He has lots of experience with dogs and im the newbie!

Re: What should i do?

Thanks. I've given him some fresh water but he's put himself in his bed now and is sleeping.

Re: What should i do?

he has been through a lot in the last few days, what with moving to yours and losing his litter mates and his mum, then having his food changed.
Just make sure he stays hrydrated and although its not the niceset of jobs you need to check around his tail to make sure he is clean, if he isn't just damp a bit of kitchen towel with water, don't use any soaps as this could irrate his skin.
