There is such a big range in prices. Doesn't it make you angry that some vets are obviously just ripping people off!

i was happy to pay what i did.they gave samson a good check up as well proir to the injection itself

I know people are going by areas here.
As I said it cost £41 for puppy vaccinations and £22 for a booster at my vets. Both of these include a thorough health check too. And with the puppy vaccinations we got free worming and flea treatment and a sample bag of food.
But our vets is probably cheapest, compared to the other vets in our town, well our vet is in the next town, but ours is a non-profit vet too.

I already posted a reply before about my vets too. I have one called Budget Vets and they charge the same as yours very good isnt it.

I think all vets should be the same
and going by what peoples vets charge its quite wrong that some vets can charge what they want when the all the vets must buy it at the same price

I just paid this week £39 for both jags which I thought was grand. I'm in Co. Antrim, N.Ire. Forgot to add that it included full check up etc.

Yeah! Luckily one of my friends is a Vet Nurse, if he hadn't have told me about the place I would never have known it existed. They only open by appointment, is that the same as yours?

Shepherd vets charge £23 per puppy jab so £46 in total (had Luna done with them as she had her first jab there).

Afon vets (the one I have registered them all with) charge £45 for both puppy jabs and microchop.

Not sure about the boosters tbh, will be boosting Sky and Candy in January so will tell you then

just to add my £46.50 included a check-up and weigh, I was offered sample food but refused it, also offered a month free on Petplan, but had already sorted insurance elsewhere.

some vets will be paying out a lot more than others depending on where they are.

they have to cover overheads and expenses to stay in business, same as any other business.

business rates, rent etc vary across the country depending on location.
