deaf dogs have got to adapt to their surroundings and they learn quicker being deaf, because their other sense's are hightened more than normal hearing dogs!
all signs can be adapted and you can make up your own, becasuse your dog will learn what they mean. facial expressions are a very good idea, as well as signing and talking as you sign. deaf dogs do learn to lip read, i know it sounds daft, as they are dogs but it is true they can and do learn to lip read! |

Yep my deafy lip read f**k off...she lip reads "wee" to go a toilet and she lip reads "sweetys" wich is nice treats...and loadsa stuff
