Ebay?

Hi all,

Just a quickie to ask about buying puppy food on ebay. the advert doesnt say what brand of food it is. Just that it is a complete "sweetheart" food (whatever that means!).

Advert shown as:

Sweetheart Puppy Food

This food is an extremely popular choice for puppy owners because it contains a well-balanced selection of all the nutrients necessary for healthy growth.

Tasty and highly palatable- made from good quality ingredients- Human grade meat used only

No soya or dairy

Smaller heart shaped kibble especailly designed for puppies- easy to digest!!

Nutritionally balanced and fortified with a premium mineral package to ensure optimum vitamin content

High in protein

Easy to store

More nutrition per pound on a dry matter basis than other types of food

Great for weaning too- soak with a little warm water and mash to form a porridge like consistency, then you can introduce more of it as crunchy food when puppy starts to teeth at around 4-8 weeks.

Ingredients:

Cereals, Meat and Animal Derivatives, Derivatives of vegetable origin, Oils and Fats, Minerals, E U Registered Antioxidant E321

Nutritional Values:

26% Protien, 10% Oil, 3% Fibre, 9%Ash

Vit A 15000i.u/Kg

Vit D3 1500i.u/Kg

Vit E 150i.u/Kg

Any ideas as to whether this is any good?

Re: Ebay?

I dont bother with dog food on ebay, I'd rather go to my pet shop and get it.
by the time you pay post and package it works out the same as the pet shops, I think anyway x

Re: Ebay?

it isnt very good food first of all it has cereal a the first ingredient which is a filler, and it uses meat and animal Derivatives and Derivatives of vegetables origin (which to me sounds horrible that means it could be roots of the veggies rather then the veggies i think)

Theres much better foods about!!

Have you looked on the online pet shops?
