They can conceive at any time .....it all depends on each dog - I have known dogs catch on in the first few days and also known dogs who have over a week after bleeding has stopped so there is no rule of thumb with it
Second that one we have had a bitch here that we mated on Day 7 she produced a litter of 13 and have also mated one on day 21 and had a litter of 10 so dont be complacent and the sprays etc from petshops DONT work

Being in Season doesn't seem to have any effect on her what so ever bless her. Also she started her season on Monday and normally she has a play date with a few dog's 2morrow in the fields. Should i cancel this?

Yes i wud cancel the play time- she will only be harassed by the males- poor thing

i take my bitches out when they are in season. Just keep her on the lead and be careful
