lumps on my dog
H guys, wonder if you could help me out. I have a yorkie/jack russell cross, and he is an old man.
He has a real large lump on his chest, and one on his anus. These lumps don't bother him at all, and he is a picture of health apart from that. I don't really want to take him to the vets as I think he might not pull through given his age etc... What are these lumps he has? Thanks in advance |

think of it this way, it is proberly just fatty lumps, but like i said better to be safe than sorry. how old is he? if it is something serious then it is up to you whether or not he goes through an opperation. my dog was put under anaesthesia when he was 12 years old to have a dental, he only had 1/2 the premed and had heart monitors on him. i was on work experience at the time so i watched over him, that was very scary and he woke up fine, the vet said my dog george was the fastest dog to wake up that hed ever seen!
try not to worry too much, it could be nothing! |

i agree if its not bothering him then leave the lumps well alone. its just best to know from the vets just to determine what they are.
you dont want him suffering in silence, especially if it is something serious! keep us posted! |
