Hi, We have had a bit of a flea problem and have treated the house with a spray from the vets and treated cats and bordercollie with advocate spot on (also from vet). My concern is that in the leaflet that came with the spot on it said to use with caution on collies and some people on the net seem very against using it.

Do any other collie owners have any thoughts, should I use something else and if so what should I use.

She has had her dose a couple of weeks ago and I was thinking of applying another dose as I think she still has fleas and vet said they can do it as often as once a week - but I am losing trust in what he said! No sign of any fleas in the house, but she is still scratching.

Should I wait until it is a month then apply another dose? Or should I avoid using this product??
