Re: stone eating (dogs)

Some dogs just do it end of story , others do it as a sign of something lacking in there diet but what nutritional benefit stones have i dont really know lol , Our Daisy loves to dig up stones but she just carries them round in her mouth looking pleased with her self .The grass thing ive always thought was something to make them sick if feeling poorly.

Zac eats stones, only cause he wants you to chase him to get it of him

Re: stone eating (dogs)

Never heard of dogs actually eating stones!

Our pups love the little limestone chippings round the house, they carry them round in their mouths and bring them in the house. Milo digs stones out the river and dips his head under the water to fetch them out but none of them have ever actually eaten a stone. How weird.
