We do it for ourselves ... why not our dogs?

Most people now days are taking all kinds of super nutritionals to keep their energy up and fight disease and aging.

Wonder how many of us give them to our dogs ... they need extra nutrition too. The American Kennel Club has a great line of nutritionals that are often recommended by Vets.

What do you think?

Re: We do it for ourselves ... why not our dogs?

My dog hates dry food but seemed to have settled on Royal Canin brand. However I like giving him food he actually likes so I occasionally cook for him. He loves the cooked food of course but I don't have much fantasy preparing those meals. Is anybody here cooking for their dogs? Any ideas on healthy balanced recipes? He hates any kind of fruits and I have to mash the vegetables so he doesn't spit them out I normally end up giving him boiled chicken meat with carrots, rice or pasta or the same thing with beef.
