Re: puppy treats
What's carob?
You can give her most things, there are specifically puppy treats around but we just give the pups the same as we give the big dogs! They are all as bad the other nutrition wise. Cheese and chicken are great as alternatives, I started a thread the other day about treats: Alternatives To Commercial Treats |

Re: puppy treats
Considering her delicate tum i wouldnt give her anything at the moment she has had too many things already . Carrot is fine , i was told by one of our vets when daisy had her tum trouble that some raw hide especialy if it was pork dirrived can upset the gut and to stear clear if possible hence we went for a natural option of carrot cold out of the fridge , it acts as as soother for sore gums if teathing , as well as being good for them it has no fat to worry about , Daisy would just chew and spit out to start but she soon got a taste for it and now carrot is hers and Jessies fave treat .Keep away from anything coloured like smarties they are full of bad stuff . keep it simple still or you wont get her gut right .

![]() You can give apple but not the core/seeds as they are toxic to dogs! Stay away from grapes and raisons too. Other than that most veg and fruit is okay in moderation, too much will give them diahorrea though. I would stick to carrots for now until the diahorrea is sorted. |
