Buttton just strips the meat of them but doesn't bother with the marrow Zoe loves the marrow and will not eat her tea for a couple of days. She just has her bones.

Unfortunately I don't have room in my freezer to freeze the bones to save them until later in the week.
God what a routine you have to go through!
Once I fill my freezer again I won't have the room so I'll just have to get them as and when I need them x

It is a performance really as you have to make sure no one can get at anyone elses bones. Zoe and William both have to be in their respective crates as they will growl at the others and Button has to go outside as she shares a crate with William . He can't go outside as he has no were to bury his bone. She's been getting me baones for a couple of months now and they all know the routine. Unfortunately the whippets would fight over bones and the bones are really to big for them. If the bin men ever looked into my bin they would think I'd killed a cow with all the bones that go in it every week. Tomorrow I'll remove last weeks bones from Zoe's crate for some reason she appears to have 6 in there this week she must have hidden 2 the week before.

Before anyone says anything Zoe prefers to eat them when they are a bit old. She has a stomach like iron and eats anything including hoover leads x2 and the plastic tray from her crate

Re: Raw feeding question

They know who gets fed and what order plus with there being so many they are fed in their crates in pairs. They know the rules and that if they haven't eaten their tea by the time I let them back out the dishes go away and they do with out. 7 of them have raw meat mixed in with their dry food the others just have dry food so I have to make sure I feed the right pairs the right food

It must have taken a long time to establish a routine like that. I'm glad I've only got my 2 to deal with

Re: Raw feeding question

The older dogs always get fed first the youngsters know they have to wait their turn although sometimes they can be a bit noisy about it. The twins I bred so they have been brought up with my tea time rules Archie is in with Simba and Holly with Amber so they learn quickly. They are the only same sex pairs I have all the others are paired dog and bitch as I find they are better like that and they eat better like that. The 2 boys sometimes sqabble but are usually ok.
