After much research and debating i finally took the plunge to go raw !!
We went on sunday to buy a second hand freezer to put it in and i ordered it yesterday .
Its just arrived oh my god what lucky girls ive got , the bag of marrow bones is huge cost me £3.50 and ive got 36 1lb portions of chicken and minced bones , 36 1lb portions of turkey and minced bone , and 36 1lb portions of heart and lung mince this equals 5 weeks of food for both dogs at a mear £35
Bargain .
Ive frozen the tips of my fingers off putting it all in the freezer , and i taken out to defrost tonights dinner ,
On the menu for tonight they have Turkey mince with a veg pulp of carrots courgets, cauliflower , and peas . lol
What a pair of spoiled babies , If this now means i have elliminated all additives preservatives and un needed ingredients i should have ensured my girls a healthier future .
Just need to work on pur diet now pmsl.

Carol im watching the girls in the garden tucking in to marrow bones lol propa going for it ive never seen Jessies tail wag so fast she cant walk straight pmsl . I got my meat from Landywoods they are very good , where do you get your from ??

Ive been reading a lot about the raw food diet, and am really interested in giving it to poppy, she will be 8 weeks old on saturday, is this too young or can you start them straight away, she doesnt seem very excited by the dry stuff anyway?

raw food can be fed to puppies. you can get great deals and lots of variety in flavours for your dogs. there is prize choice who sell frozen dog foods online. they even have dog breeder deals!

Who can blame her!

Puppies can be fed raw from weaning so 8 weeks is fine to start feeding a raw diet!

If you have room for a spare freezer try Landywoods on the net they are cheeper than the stuff in pet shops but there is a minimum order and they cover most areas but not all ,have a look on there web site and see just how cheep it can be to feed them real food , the freezer we bought is 3ft by 2ft and i ordered 3 trays of food and a bag of bones and there is plenty of room for more in the freezer if needed

The girls enjoyed thier first meal last night although a bit windy later on the evening lol , today they have a mix of turkey and chicken , with fruit thrown in during the day .
