Cystitis?

Pippa has blood in her wee She is doing very small wees frequently and the ones that she has done in the house that I've cleaned up has fresh blood in

Off to the see the emergency vet in 10 minutes

Sounds a lot like cystitis.

I hope she feels better soon, ive had it and its not nice.

Yes i agree with Nonnie its does.Our bitch had cystitis after being in season 49days
Yes no joke 49days! ..She also had fresh blood in her wee and on the way to the vets she actually passed a crystal..They put her on anti-biotic's for 10days then we had to take her back, it wasnt clear so they put her on them for a futhur 6 days!!

Hope your girl is ok and good luck at the vets!

ouch!
as a preventative measure try adding a daily dose of vit c to the diet as this alters the ph of the urine to a more acidic state which is better and more normal.
Also the main cause is usually not drinking enough so do what u can to get more fluids through her, mebs even a water fountain would encourage more fluid intake?
