Re: Eukanuba Breed specific
not sure why you should need breed specific dog food, sounds rather a money spinner to me. Eukanuba was one of the original 'specialist' foods that could only be sourced through your vet. It was incredibly expensive compared with any other but you didnt have to feed a lot and the difference in the poos were considerable, small, non smelly and a good consitency (yuck!). I have no idea what it is like now as I have never used it on my dogs and only have experience of it with dogs that came into my boarding kennels.

Re: Eukanuba Breed specific
Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole, e.e.c. permitted additives will be bha and bht, both are thought to cause cancer by some experts, there is also way to much grain in their food for my liking. As someone else has already said they have done horrific experiments on animals, everything made by that vile company is banned in my house.

Re: Eukanuba Breed specific
i dont see the point in breed specific foods. it is just a way to make more money in my eyes as its always more expensive to buy a smaller bag than just standard maintenance food.
a good quality food should have all these added things in them anyway, such as glucosamine and chondrotin. (sorry for my spelling, i cant think today) im also just not a fan of eukanuba, there are far better foods out there that arent as expensive. they have improved their food slightly over the last couple of years, but they still use a lot of cheap fillers. i would stick to your james wellbeloved food. |
