If the dog has colitis then to much fibre is bad for them ( as in my dogs case) the sight I use for Protect is dog cages, dog cage, dog crate, dog crates, dog carriers, incubators, dog runs, dog cage covers, I can recommend this sight from ordering from

I decided to buy Protexin Pro-Kolin as it sorted him out when i got it from the vet but only going to give it him when he gets the squits. can anyone reccomend any probiotic yogurts?

i have also found goats milk probiotic yogurt would this be ok for jack and would it be benificial?



ingredients:
Pasteurised Goats' Milk Yogurt , Modified Maize Starch , Probiotic Cultures: , Streptococcus Salivarius ssp.Thermophilus, Lactobacillus Acidophillus and Bifidobacterium Longum .

I dont see why it should be a problem. Mine have had goats milk yogurt with no problems. Its better tolerated that cows.

I know some people give yakult and things like that. Cant say ive tried it, but ive never had reason too.

Mine wouldn't eat the yogurt thats why I put him on Protect I use it everyday on his evening meal and it seems to work o.k he had no squits even in the hot weather which is a plus

You could also try adding a little bran to his diet. Bran works the opposite way in dogs to humans. It wont help at all if its an infection/worms though.

cant really rule out an infection but hes wormed up to date and its very similar to what he had last time when i took him to the vets

If it's an infection, you would probably see other signs very quickly, but if you think there is a possibility of one, get to your vets sooner rather than later
