Re: Raw Diet

I don't starve one day a week. Dogs on a natural diet should self regulate, eat so much one meal, they may not want anything the next meal, but i have a lab who doesn't turn her nose up at anything! Well except banana

As for the worming, how do you know a chemical wormer works? Because the vet says? Think about what a chemical wormer does, it gives the dog the s**ts, this is to get rid of all the worms that may be in there. The pumpkin seeds are fed whole, 1 cupful, the also do the same job but scour the gut making sure everything else is out of there. The Stilton contains good bacteria to put back in there, something which a chemical wormer doesn't do.

My dog has never had worms, even during her coprophagia phase when i first got her

Re: Raw Diet

Cheers for that, gonna have a good read on it when I get chance because I don't like to use chemicals if possible but with dogs coming in and out all the time I need to be sure I am doing something that is effective!

I board, petsit, and walk tonnes of dogs. We don't insist on dogs being vaccinated, just that they haven't come into contact with infectious diseases for 28days.

As i said before, i think a natural diet goes a long way to help. I used to work at a dog creche, and Izzy went through 3 outbreaks of kennel cough without getting it, she's never been vaccinated for kennel cough, that is the biggest waste of money
