Definatly not a phantom,it was Pyometra and we were within 24 hours of losing her.So if your bitches go downhill during or after a season get them to the vets asap.

awwww Sallyanne - I have just read your thread. I am so glad that your pooch is on the mend and well done to you on spotting it. I have just googled Pyometra as I had never heard of it before - am on the look out for it too now. I hope she recovers from her op quickly.
