Deer Tick

Can anyone give me any info on deer ticks.

We are going camping in an area where i know they are a problem and i know they are nasty but nothing else.

What can i take with me to extract/can i do anything to prevent/how do i spot them ??

you can buy a stick remover, they'r good.

This is the best method
O'Tom Tick Remover - Pet Accessories with reviews and price comparison at dooyoo.co.uk
Your vet may have them.

Alternatively a pair of fine tweezers, the problem with tweezers is you may squash it an the poison will go into your dog

Failing that, you could look in a pet shop when you get there
P@H don't do them, theirs is rubbish
