Do dogs cry?

Many of you have offered lots of support toward Chance on my other thread, however I wanted to ask if dogs express pain through tears?

She is currnetly very settled and in her bed, but won't go to sleep. Her eyes look sunken and are quite red. The also appear to have small moisture trails leading from them as though she is crying?

I'm sure I'm being daft, but sat here watching my dog suffer is unbearable. When I stroke her head then stop, she pines for me to carry on. Clearly she finds it soothing.

She has had her pain relief for tonight and I'll be sleeping in the dining room with her tonight, just to keep her calm and soothed as best I can.

Yeah, I have sometimes noticed with Taylor sometimes - when he has done something wrong, and he knows it, they do them ''puppy eyes'' looks as though he cries sometimes

Aww, poor lil Chance.

Never seen tears on Molly ( and I hope I don't), but I hope Chance isn't crying.

Hope she is ok. xx
