Re: Bentley's Bloody Poop
How old is Bentley you said you have had him for 6 months but is he a pup or older ? Our lab puppy when we first got her had the runs all the time we went through all possabilities with the vet from worms to virus , had blood tests and poo tests and it eventually came down to diet . We put her on royal canin hypoallergenic its protien source is soya so it gives the gut time to recover we had her on it for about 5 days before we started to see an improvement we kept her on this for about 6 weeks and then when all was better and poo was normal we put her on R/C lab junior . If you problem with Bentlet is food orientated it could take a while for it to get better as his poor insides sound like they have been really messed about . Make sure he has been tested for any parasitic infection though to rule any other cause out other than just food intollerance , his insides may look like they are coming out as he has probably been straining while going to the loo for so long it may be like piles ( hemoroids) .Good luck
Andrea
