Oscar was given his second jab a week ago. Duramune was the vaccine. The vet said 14 days before he could go out. I went to a differnet vet regarding an eye problem and she said 7-10 days. whats the general opinion on here? I'm confused and dying to take Oscar out. The vet said he'd be fine on an open space like Dartmoor.

Ive always been told 2 weeks and have to be honest only waited 1 week mine springers have always been ready and would have been crawling the walls if left any longer. They have always been fine

The vet told me 1 week - yet most people have said 2wks. Well, I have waited long enough already, so 1 more week wont hurt, at least I know Missy will be fully covered - better to be safe than sorry.

I know it does depend on the area you live in thats why vets advice on this can be a bit conflicting if there has been parvo etc reported in the area the vet will advice longer than others
