My Pug called Penny

Well it has been 2 weeks since we got our Pug which by the way is 4 years old and had been used purely for breeding, she had bad breath and her ears really smelled awful plus the fact that we didn,'t want her to have any more pups as she had had 5 litters that we were told about, so we took her to the vet last Wednesday where she was speyed, her ears cleaned out and would you believe it had 9 teeth removed because they had been neglected, what a traumatic thing to go through at only 4 years old......................anyway tomorrow Wed we hope that she will have her stitches out and she will be able to go for long awaited walks. Her breath is a vast improvement and her ears are marvelous.
I must say that she has perked up tremendously since we took her on board.

Re: My Pug called Penny

Many thanks for all your thoughts, yes she is a lot happier now...........we went back to the vet today, she had a look at her progress and said that she is doing fine, alas her stitches won't be out 'till Sat morn but what's another couple of days? after what's she's been through?. her ears are on the mend but still need some more attention, we have some ear drops and cotton wool buds to clean her ears out twice a day...so everything looks hunky dory, anyway everyone many thanks once again for your thoughts.
I haven't been on this forum site long, just over a week and its assuring that there is always someone somewhere willing to listen to what you have to say.
I have posted some piccies in the 'Pet Photos' section, sorry they are a bit out of focus but hope to upload some fresh ones rather sooner that later.
regards
