Re: Guide Dogs

Well my friends and people keep telling me what to do with my dog.
Not like on here, cos I ask for opinions etc, but neighbours who have never owned a dog, going on at me saying I spoil my Lab, then I protest that I don't, cos it's not me, it's my mum, it just irritates me. Then I have a month to decide if I wanna go to Uni or stay on at college.

There are many reasons dog, including young ones, lose weight, and before passing judgement and automatically assuming they dont feed the animal, maybe we should think about the various other reasons that could contritube to its appearance.

Oscar was skin and bones until he was about 2 and a half. I fed him, i fed him LOADS, but he couldnt keep weight on. He was weighed weekly, and had every test under the sun performed on him, yet nothing was ever found. He was just very active, and like some people, never really put on much weight.
I'd hate to think that people who saw him would assume i was cruel and didnt feed him, without knowing the full facts of his situation.
I no a lab who's very skinny and as you said she's very well fed. she's a happy lively little thing.
