urgent advice needed please

ive noticed my 8 month old staffy has a swollen ear that he keeps scratching we looked into it and it is covered in lots of little blistery spots from tip to deep inside and is a little gunky with a brownish colour.
does this sound like mange?? please tell me its just an infection id feel terrible if it was mange!!

nope doesn`t sound like mange,i`d take her to the vet asap.

Sounds very much like it could be Canker to me - but please don't take my word for it, your vet is the only person who can confirm, notice you are going in the morning away so hopefully you will kep us informed.

i'd agree with that. Even if it ismange it's nothing u've done wrong call the vet tomorow tho

Mange usally starts around the belly and inside of legs i have seen lots of this on badgers and foxes ECT they catch it the same as any dog...it defo doesnt sound like mange..But i agree with DD.
hope it all gets sorted xx

ohh really did the vet say it was quite rare..was it sarcoptic mange or demodectic mange?? do you know x

sepcotic i think can't remember now but the stuff they gave me to bath him in he was alergic to bless him it was touch and go for a week not just the mange he was a very run down little man not just the mange the people i got him from fed him on left over's and ham, was ment to be 8wks when i got him the vet sed prob only 5 his nearly 2 now and as fit as a fiddle bless him.
