info young puppy

hello its just a couple of things about evie my 5 month old border terrier. its the first girl dog we;ve had and olso the first thats chewed most of the house . was wondering at what age they come into season and at what age is best to breed. her mum was eleven months old which i think is two young

11mths is far to young,around 2yrs old is best.It all depends on the breed,smaller dogs tend to come into season earlier,anytime from now,but she could be over a year before she has a season.my old boss had a cocker who was 2yr 7mths before she had her first season.

One of my labs had her first at 12 months ,the other one were still waiting for , although the vet did say she could have had a secret season we didnt see. as far as breading wait till at least 2 so she can mature emotionally
