Re: Can someone advise me please.....

Hi I just adopted a new dog last friday so going through the honeymoon period so to speak. You didnt know he had soft feet, you are having him checked out by the vet so dont feel bad.
My dane hated the car was nervous dribbly and sick. and had to be lifted in today he actually came upto it still needed to be lifted in but much better.
Its going to take time for you and the dog to get to know each other properly ,
In a few weeks he will be romping around the fields with your girly and wearing you out.

hugs

Rachel and the gang!

Re: Can someone advise me please.....

Just thought I would let you know that Emmersons paws look a lot better this morning, bathed them with salted water yesterday as advised by a friends daughter who is a very experienced vet nurse. Justs slight pink colour not any where near as angry.
He looks like he has done a aerobics lesson and is suffering the morning after muscle effects...there are alot of ouchs and owws when he gets out of his crate... little sweetie.

Re: Can someone advise me please.....

Cos he's a big breed I'd be tempted to start him on some cod liver oil tablets, even at this young age. I give them to Sidney as although he's only 4 he runs around like a lunatic and he leaps very high (and lands like a lump) after his ball so I think it's a good prevention for trouble with his joints in later life. I just give him one a day people tables (Lidl £1.39 for 60) so cheap as well!
