crusty eye in puppy

My puppy woke up with a crusty eye this morning (bit like an adult with sleep in their eye) which cleaned no problem. Noticed it again few minutes ago-is this normal??

may be a slight viral infection o the eye. keep cleanign it with warm water adn cotton wall every hour or two.

if its like it after a couple of days take pup to the vet.

we had a kitten that was like it and it cleared up after a couple of days of washing with warm water.

good luck

Is the stuff coming out yellow? if so it could be conjunctivitis and may need drops.

will try warm water. Her eyes looked a bit red today so might be conjunctivitis. If no better tomorrow will ring the vet

Re: crusty eye in puppy

I'd bathe it with a mild solution of warm salt water on cotton wool, do this a couple of times a day.
