Exclamation Toy poodle health advice needed !!

My friend has a toy poodle around a year old,he has always been skinny, and fussy with food,he was hard to house train too. They are really concerned with his health as he is seriously thin, like a skeleton! and has been a bit lethargic latley, she took him to the vets where they took bloods and said they were quite worried, are there any "poodle"conditions this could be? i think the breeder had lots of dogs, and was a bit overwhelmed with it all, they paid £400 but never got any papers.

I believ Poodles can suffer from Addison's Disease. Symptoms of this include loss of appetite and lethargy

Have they had the results from the bloods yet? If the vet were worried about the liver then would not the lab be looking at the liver emzymes (can't spell)
Think your friend has to be ruled by the vet on this and maybe pushing for more tests, I used to give my dog 'mild thistle' the aid her liver function as this is said to be good, as is dandilion so I believe but have never tried this.
If as Clueless suggests it is addisons there is a fabulous support group that I know of that it may be benifical to join - it is by invite only so you would have to pm me for details
