Dog Insurance

Can anyone give tip/advice of a decent plan provider and price. I have looked at loads and am just getting confused.

Re: Dog Insurance

I use Pet Plan and have done for years. They are not cheap but I've always found them to be very fair. I insure my seven with them - costs me an arm and a leg every month but I think it's worth it for peace of mind. One of mine is just really unlucky and her claims have pretty much equalled my premiums for some of the years I've been with them.

Remember to look out for a company that will cover a condition for the entirety of a pet's life - not just for the first year of any condition. And watch out, there's at least one company that quotes a monthly amount, then in really small writing they say that a month is 28 days - so they get 13 premiums out of you every year. Sneaky

Re: Dog Insurance

Pet plan is good , Tesco also offer a pet plan but i use pinicle pet care and they have been very quick with any previous claims. I think you have to pay the first 70 pounds.

Re: Dog Insurance

Dont go with tesco they have good plans but only cover 12months of the illness not live time.

we're with pet plan £14.75 a month which i thought was pretty cheap really and it covers life time illness

Re: Dog Insurance

I use Petplan for my Yorkie, it is a bit more pricey than some but yes they do life time cover which the vet told me to look for.
