Misty
I am beginning o worry about misty now.
She is limp quite badly her limp was put foot down oh thats sore she could walk on it but it was uncomfortable she now alks on 3 legs. i phoned the vet and they said the same thing as last time clean dry and dont walk her or let her run around. i have bathed it in salt water, put savalon on it and wrapped it up. she went to her bed and took off all the bandages and then started to lick it which i stopped her from doing. THe vets are going to see her monday when i take candy in. as they are on emergency calls only now and nless it gets MUCH worse this is not an emergency. BUT what else I have noticed today is she starting to look very skinny and is losing her hair on her tummy and around her under her tail. it never totally grew back when she was spayed but seems to be getting worse. She is an old girl we think 10/11 we aren't sure its hard to tell as she has no front teeth (for people that dont know misty shes a rescue) she seems to sleep all day she is still eating and she seems quiter than normal. I have seen many crosbreed greyhounds like her die of cancer of one sort or another i'm pretty scared that her time with us is limted. we have had her for 6 years she has ha a great lif with us in those 6 years and has been spoilt but i'd rather she had another 4 just to make up for the 4 crummy years she had. What do you guys think amd i panicking too soon? SHould i MAKE the vets see her? Money isn't an issue of course i'll pay any emergency vet fees if i have too as she is un insured. We have never had a problem with her and let her insurance run out about 3 years ago funny enough i mentioned a few days ago to hubby i think we should get her reinsured just add her to candy's insurance as its cheaper. but i haven't had chance to ring them and now its abit late! So back to the problem what are your thoughts. she is currently asleep on her bed. Picture0039.jpg
