Re: New and worried ..

After trying a few, and like you reading up about different foods on here, we settled on Natures Harvest (which you can get from pets at home) which is all natural ingredients and Rocky (Yorkie) loves it!

If you are looking at a good natural prepared food - N aturediet takes some beating -but I wouldn't buy it from PAH - you can buy it from a wholesaler for around 50p per pack - I would without doubt use the
NatureDiet puppy - I am currently paying £8.44 for 18
also
Arden Grange puppy (yhellow bag) is a good food - you can buy both these from BeringwoodW

Can you confirm the name of the wholesaker - BeringwoodW??? Googled it and couldn't fine it.

well its just people saying bulldogs get this, bulldogs suffer from that. I weight train myself but use to eat rubbish just to keep my size, once i started to eat healthly i felt a big change in just the way i feel ,energy etc so thought my Winston deserves this too, if i make sure he is getting all the right stuff that will help him build himself up,Also i should be helping keep these <bulldogs get this > at bay..

ill get some pics up gawd knows ive took plenty hahahah..

Re: New and worried ..

Hi there!

I've fed all my dogs on Hills products and been really really happy with them

You can get it just about anywhere - but if your vet sells it, they may have a 'loyalty' scheme (as mine does) where you buy 5 bags and get the 6th free. I think this scheme is for vets only?

Royal Cannine has got a good reputation too.

If changing food, you must do it very gradually over a period of say 10 days or you'll be wiping up poo from everywhere and that will not be good for you pup or you!!

Hope you all have a long and delicious relationship - you're lucky to have found each other

Royal Canin actually do a Babydog Range - which is from just weaned to ?5months.
Then they do puppy, then junior then adult.

If you want to see what's around and get a lot of information then the Pets at Home website is very user-friendly. Their page on complete dog foods is comprehensive with over 100 foods and you can check out ingredients as well as different breed foods. Their own brand food is very good, I can vouch for that!

You'll find the dog food page here

Hi there, never had a bulldog but we feed our akita puppy Purina Pro Plan Large Breed Puppy Robust and he is doing really well on and looking absolutely gorgeous(it also comes in normal puppy) when we got hime he was on pedigree and we changed him on the advice of our vet, and it made a big difference he had a lot more energy and was more willing to play and to learn!!
