Re: 8 week onl Bichon Frise being sick! HELP

Hi All

Just thought I would keep everyone updated, Austin went into hospital last night and he has been on antibiotics all tonight and today, the vets thinks he must have picked a bug up at sometime! So safe to say we have been all very worried about him all weekend

Hopefully as long as he is not sick today we should be able to pick him up

So am keeping everything crossed!!!!

Re: 8 week onl Bichon Frise being sick! HELP

Hope Austin is well soon.

I'm also new to owning a pup, a Bichon. I'm aware that they can suffer with skin problems so realy want to feed him the best.
I feed him Purina but want to change to Burns or Hills. Would either of those be ok?

Is it ok to ask on this thread or should I start a new one?
Thank you

It'sfine to ask but you kight do better to start your own one

Mine was on Purina when i got him but i found he was really hungry all the time on it. Burns is fine or Arden Grange with Nature diet wet for a treat in a kong if you want to vary it a bit.

When we bought mika the breeder gave us Purina but Mika hated it so we changed to Hills. Don't know if it is that good for him but he seems to like it, so long as he's happy and eating i am happy

I feed burns to both my dogs, they have quite sensitive stomaches and never had any problems as burns is a natural food, my pup was fed burns at 5 weeks we took the food up to th breeder as i didnt want her fed on anything else.
