Sore paws from the frozen snow

Lottie is licking her front paws and has made them quite red. I havent taken her out other than for toilet trips today. She does hop every now and again off one of her back legs too. Can anyone recommend anything I can put on them. Or am I just best keeping her in till the snow melts. Dont think she will be best pleased about that though

Lightbulb Some thoughts.

Were you walking on salt treated paths?

It's a good idea to wash their paws of salt when coming home.

Was the dog out for a long time? Some frostbite maybe? Pre-treat the paws with Vaseline prior to walks tomorrow.

When there is snow on the ground it is too easy to walk through broken glass - I suggest you very closely inspect the pads and toes, with a magnifying glass if need be.
