Thanks but she has managed it for 8 yrs without grabbing my finger so I took it as she loved liver

Thank you, I still keep a diary for Buddy so will def do so for Kc

It took her a while to digest it properly as she didn't do a poo for the first couple of days (i was quite worried but was assured by the person who wrote the raw feeding sticky that its quite normal in older dogs) and when i added a bit of bone you could see little pieces that hadn't been digested, this was only for the first week or two though.
Other than that she took to it really well, no problems with raw liver/offal/raw fish or any types of meat she's tried

I mainly did it the 'cold turkey' way as thats what everyone advised and also i didn't have much choice as Tammy wasn't eating her usual food anyway and certainly wouldn't of after having a juicy raw meal!
I changed Buddy over 'cold turkey' too.

I found with Kc when she had the occasional chicken wings that there was sometimes little bone pieces but she would throw up the bone fragments rather than pass them

It's nice to hear of someone else changing over a slightly older dog

I know Kc loves it and I have been feeding Buddy raw for several months successfully so I just need to do it and stop worrying
