chunks from DAF

Im putting together my order for DAF.
My pooches have just had tripe and chicken this month as they've only been on raw since mid january.
This month I want to introduce a different meat.
What do you suggest?

What about the beef chunks? Are they loose lumps so I can just defrost a couple of lumps or does it all come packed together??
What are 'choice chunks'??

Shall I get some lamb?

So many questions...I find raw feeding really exciting...lame I know

And Beef chunks are just that, you get about 3/4 big lumps of beef - hang on I have photos

On the left is a beef chunk and on the right is a Heart chunk

Aimee your brilliant, always so helpful
I think I'll go for some beef chunks then
Is there any reason you buy from lincs rather than DAF?

Re: chunks from DAF

cant help you on the chunks I am afraid but i see slb has

I would really really recommend the duck wings, my lot absolutely love them
I dont buy direct from daf (they dont deliver as far as me), i get from a daf distributor two towns away from me

lil pup with a duck wing

Im also a massive fan of necks, but i know the turkey necks arent cheap.
I get chicken necks for 75p per kilo and they form the staple of the little uns diets

No idea, Leanne found it and as she is far more experienced than I am I just kind of went with it, I don't have connections with butchers (although hopefully that may change) and we were going to get the stuff delivered together it was cheaper.. It's all DAF stuff just from a different place, like supermarkets..

But at least on the link it shows you whats in each of the minces you get from DAF

Me too, mine loved them, except Benj who seemingly has a tummy that doesn't agree with duck wings..

I ordered some 'choice chunks' for the first time last week and was a bit disappointed. It's offal, but it just seemed like it was minced to me, not chunks. Those beef and heart chunks look good, reckon I'll order some of those next!

Sherlock loves lamb, I think I introduced it in the second month of his raw diet and there were no probs

If it's lame I'm definitely lame too - I love choosing Sherlock's meals and thinking about what I can order next The scary thing is I'm a vegetarian and previously couldn't touch meat without cringing Dunno what's happened to me!
