Mika's fine don't worry

Its just a question really. My cousin's dog had Kennel Cough around Xmas so we couldn't take Mika with us for Xmas dinner.

We're going there for dinner tonight and might take mika with us..my question is...how long does it take for Kennel Cough to go away? Is it safe for Mika to join us tonight?

MIght sound like a stupid question but i don't know lol...i read it can take a month to go away, when i googled it....
