raw feeders - where do you buy your heart?

I haven't seen any heart in the butchers or supermarkets as of yet and due to lack of freezer space can't buy it in bulk from DAF.

So I would like some ideas of where to buy heart please

Local butchers , sometimes Morrisons but sadly Morrisons cut it up really small.

We have the tiniest Morrisons ever near us and don't really venture out to the big one in York. May have to arrange an offal buying trip

Re: raw feeders - where do you buy your heart?

The butchers get me whole ox hearts from their own cattle or the abattoir. Each heart does 4 - 5 meals.

Re: raw feeders - where do you buy your heart?

I get cut up heart from Morrisons, whole hearts from Tescos.

Whether or not a supermarket sells this stuff or not depends on the demographic of its store location.

So if you are in an up market area you may not find them.

Bet those are fun to carve up in your kitchen

Did you get yours from Morrisons when you lived over here?
