Bark has changed

Took my 10 month old Jack Russell to vets yesterday as stomach has been upset and high temperature. Has had a similar problem before and vet gave him antibiotic injection and prescribed some metacam. Seems slighly better today but have noticed that his bark is different. Its almost as if he has a sore throat. Any ideas on why his bark has changed? Could it be he has a sore throat?
