I bought a copy of YOUR DOG magazine this morning, having never read it before. Was gobsmacked when i turned to the 'your dog' product awards page and saw that the highly recommended award for the best complete dog food is BAKERS COMPLETE!!! I couldn't believe it!

I think you`ll find they pay for a lot of advertising in that magazine.

the magazine doesnt do enough in it on nutrition and when it does it doesnt clearly state, this food is bad etc etc due to the reasons above in claires post
so the people that read the magazine unfortunately do not know better

i believe these awards are voted for by the readers of the magazine, so Bakers was the best complete dog food according to the readers.

Yes, these awards were voted for by the readers - bit worrying! James Wellbeloved was the winner with Bakers Complete as one of the runners up - I have to say I've never seen an advert for Bakers in Your Dog.

At least James Wellbeloved was the winner then - When I subscribed to Your Dog, the articles about feeding and nutrition often had photos of dogs eating "multi-coloured" bowls of dry food...

Yet the Your Dog forum is all about how awful the posters think Bakers is and how raw is the way forward! I may have made a naughty FB post (horse avatar)

Not the magazines fault at all, its purely voted by the readers. As Bakers is probably one of the most advertised dog foods around, its little surprised. At least JWB won.
