For around a week now, I have noticed a lump on Chloe's side/stomach. It isn't hard. She appears to be in no pain, and is running around and eating as usual. Actually, I think she's eating a little more than usual.
She is an almost 5 year old Chihuahua.


Any idea what this could be? Do I need to go to the vet?

You say it isn't hard, so do you mean it's soft - if so in what way? Benny has bits that look like this but it's just excess skin as he's lost weight.

She's hasn't lost weight, but has gained around 0.4 kg.

Deffo not a rib, luckily. Her ribs are smaller and...harder
