it was only last night we noticed it, our Welsh border collie has a strange looking swelling/ lump under her eye, it doesn't seem to bother her but it looks as if we might take her to the vets on monday, in the meantime i thought i would join up here post a picture of the problem and get to know some of the other members.

the trouble is i know our dog does NOT LIKE VETS, in fact she doesn't like strangers going anywhere near her, but she is fine with people and dogs that she knows.

the last time we took to the vet, they had heck of a job to check her over, in fact think she bit the vet a little just trying to get the muzzle on, so the vet said next time you have to bring her in give her some tranqulizers etc. he was not pleased.

so obviously anything i can do for her to avoid taking her to the vets is going to be very good news.
