Lynphoplasmactic rhinitis

Anyone heard of this before or had a dog treated for it. Someone I know has this in their Mal and so far the treatment of Prednisolone has had a devastating affect on him, in fact he's near deaths door!

Just wondered if anyone knows of a specialist ENT vet they could recommend.

Re: Lynphoplasmactic rhinitis

No actual experience of Lymphoplasmacytic rhinitis. This link will explain more about it - bottom of page 7 onward. It does say that the use of steeroids may worsen clinical signs and probably should be avoided. Hope this helps a bit. Poor dog he must feel terrible.

Re: Lynphoplasmactic rhinitis

Thanks for that link, all every interesting. Just can't make out why the poor lil guy is so poorly as they say this condition is not life threatening. He has had pneumonia and i'm wondering if it has returned.

Poor lil guy is only two years old!
